General Dentistry Services

Initial Oral Examination

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth, as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for accurate diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Routine Dental Cleaning & Sealants

We recommend that you come in for a cleaning every six months. This way, we can keep track of your brushing and flossing quality. We maintain an extensive file on all of our patients. Our goal is to help our clients reach optimum oral health when under our care.

Tooth Care

Sealants are liquid coatings that harden on the chewing surfaces of teeth and show a great deal of effectiveness in preventing cavities. The pits and grooves of your teeth are prime areas for opportunistic decay. Even regular brushing sometimes misses these.

X-Rays

When X-rays pass through your mouth during a dental exam, more X-rays are absorbed by the denser parts (such as teeth and bone) than by soft tissues (such as cheeks and gums) before striking the film. This creates an image on the radiograph. We use this to determine problems that we cannot see with the naked eye.

Restorative Dentistry

Bonding & Veneers

Teeth that are badly stained, shaped, or crooked may be improved by a veneer placed on the surface of the affected teeth. They are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced, or crooked. Little or no anesthesia is needed.

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth. Bridges are natural-looking dental appliances that can replace a section of missing teeth. Both are ideal for making your smile whole again!

Periodontal Exams

Periodontal exams are vital in maintaining your oral health as they are used to assess the health of your gums and teeth. They can help your dentist diagnose gum diseases, gingivitis, and periodontitis. These exams can also reveal receding gums, exposed roots, tooth grinding, and other problems.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy involves removing the diseased tissue from the tooth, halting the spread of infection, and restoring the healthy portion of the tooth. Root canal therapy is designed to save a problem tooth. The only alternative is extraction.

Extractions

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. If you are facing a tooth extraction, it can seem a little daunting and scary, but we are experts in this service, and if we can’t fix your tooth with a root canal, unfortunately, we will have to extract it.

Scaling and Root Planing

Cosmetic Dentistry Services

Dermal Injections (Botox) for Facial Smoothing

Botox injection (botulinum toxin) temporarily paralyzes the facial muscles and decreases muscle tone, thus temporarily smoothing wrinkles. However, injection with Botox is usually the first step in facial rejuvenation, and deeper wrinkles also need to be filled with dermal filler.

Cosmetic Contouring

At The Dental Suite, our cosmetic contouring is performed to improve the appearance of worn, damaged, or irregularly shaped teeth. During the process, ragged edges or chips are eliminated. Teeth are subtly reshaped to look more attractive.

Excessive or Uneven Gums

If your gum line is uneven, we can reshape it surgically. This can involve gingivectomy by removing tissue to reshape the gums. If you need new gum tissue, we can graft new gum tissue onto the gum line to help rebuild a gum line that had been too low.

Dermal Injections for Relief

Botox injection can also relieve our clients from tension headaches and excessive teeth grinding.

Implant Restorations

Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone and are a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures.

Whitening

Teeth whitening performed at The Dental Suite can make your teeth brighter and faster.  We offer custom whitening trays so you can bleach in the comfort of your home.  We also offer the Pola Light system, an LED mouthguard is used to speed up and intensify the process.

Smile For Life Whitening Program

How does the program work? We will take impressions or scan your teeth to create custom trays that fit your teeth. We will provide a bleach whitening kit at the delivery of your bleach trays. A complimentary bleach syringe will be provided for you at each routine 6-month cleaning appointment.

Conditions: You must be on a routine recall schedule and be seen yearly to remain part of the White for Life Program. A re-enrollment fee will otherwise be assessed.

Orthodontic Dentistry Services

Traditional Braces and Clear Aligners

Even though we are a dental clinic, we still practice orthodontics. We are happy to provide braces or clear aligners, such as Sure Smile. We do this so we can offer the entire process under one roof.

Thanks to today’s advances in orthodontic technology, we can provide our patients with more options when it comes to wearing braces than ever before. While traditional metal braces are still widely used, clear aligners are very popular with adults who are self-conscious about wearing braces. We will be happy to help guide you to determine which treatment option is right for you.

Depending on the severity of the misalignment of your teeth, you will have to wear braces or clear aligners for three months to two years. Once we take them off, your smile will be at its absolute best!  We also provide retainers for you to wear to keep your new smile in line.
